Another blown CFM intake

The problem with plastic, even if it LOOKS like carbon fiber..lol

Well, at least in CFM's favor he was running a larger turbo!!!

In CFM's defense when these are shattered it's usually high boost . It's been a great product for stock to midrange hop up applications.

The best benefits of installing cold air intake are good,increases air flow,and cooler air,when your engine receives cool air your compression increases which means more horse power..with a good cool air system you will gain anywhere from1.5-7 hp. if you live somewhere where it rains or snows put your stock airbox on cool air intakes are known for sucking in water and that is not good you can blow a head gasket.

That will definitely get your attention...produce a very sick feeling in your tummy. I had this happen just as I was cresting McDonald Pass.
