Another DTT Love Story

A big thanks to “SNOW MAN” for the fabulous DTT install he did with my truck. I received the full "DTT treatment", 89% TC, VB and the latest and greatest 3rd gear Update kit. A special thanks goes out to Bill and the folks at DTT for their great products. The truck is different beyond comparison. I never could understand why DC can’t ship these trucks this way. The truck moves now instead of winding out and limping along, you can now push on the throttle and away you go! It’s unbelievable how Bill’s TC transfers the power to the ground, and not out of the tailpipe. Those looking for a qualified installer, I would highly recommend SNOW MAN in the lower Hudson Valley area of NY. If in need of more info email or PM me.

OK, what's the 3rd gear uprate kit? I'm waiting for blue stator rings to come in so I can get the same set-up installed on my truck. Is this the master upgrade kit? TIA

Oops! maybe I got a little carried away with my comments. As I understand it's the additional 5th. clutch disk, from the stock 4 to 5, added to the direct clutch pack for (3rd gear) therefor increasing the load capacity of that clutch. So to answer your question (I'm no expert by no means) this additional disk added to the 3rd. gear clutch pack has been around for a while. Sorry, didn't mean to get everyone's hopes up there was something brand spankin new out there. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.
