Chatting with an exhaust manufacture rep. and he says that the EZ on his truck pulls harder in the lower gears but doesn't give anything when pulling in the higher gears? What do you guys with the EZ experience when towing? Thanks, Doc

People seem to have been kind of down on the EZ and other pressure boxes when the "sexier" more full featured/advanced models started becoming available. Now it seems to me that its starting to get back the respect that IMO it rightfully deserves. This is an excellent mod for someone planning on staying with a mostly stock truck. Good seat of the pants, improves towing, and can live in an otherwise stock truck. Mine certainly does not go away in the top gears. No need to rely on this forum though. I would think you have someone close who can let you plug in their unit so you can judge for yourself.

My top end still seemed good with the ez. With 10k behind me I can still go 85+ up a good long grade... I have been really happy with the EZ :)

I have been very happy with my ez except for egts. I can't seem to keep them down while towing on hills. Working on an exhaust change next.

In Reading about the EZ and other modules. It mentions that anytime you are using these units to; change the intake, and upgrade the exhaust.

change the intake... you mean air filter etc or intake manifold. I have an AFE filter assembly. Just trying to decide on which exhaust. I don't want to have to change my turbo mounted pacbrake. I may go with the aeroturbine setup.
