Another Example Of Great DTT Service

I want to take this opportunity to once again thank Bill Kondolay and the whole team at DTT. I was getting third gear starts and called Bill. He was able to resolve the third gear start problem over the phone, but said he wanted me to bring my truck up to his shop so he could take a look at it and check for damage. Hooked up the 5th wheel and off we went.

Upon our arrival, Vinnie and Darren hooked up a pressure gauge and went for a test drive. When they came back, the truck goes up on the rack and the transmission pan is dropped. Bill takes one look at it and does not like what he sees, so out comes the transmission and torque converter.

Bill rebuilds the transmission, Darren rebuilds the valve body, and Vinnie rebuilds the over-drive unit, and back in the truck they go complete with a new torque converter.

The whole point of this post is this. Bill could have looked in the pan and said, “normal wear” and I would have never been the wiser.

With this kind of costumer service, it is no wonder every time someone asks where to go for transmission work there is a big response that is DTT.

so, Tracy, how much does bill charge you for something like that? does someone in florida have to drive to bc to get this done right. i only say this because i just had my appointment with jessup at cummins. 1000mile drive but the timing is perfect and i learned alot and got 230 injectors, therefore THAT was worth the drive. thanks. scott.

That is DTT's normal method of operation... excellent customer service, the willingness to go the extra mile for a customer, and to do it all very timely and professionally.

I just had mine gone over at DTT last week. Vinnie and Darren also get a positive nod from me. They where very considerate and answered alot of questions. Some may think spendy, yes, but you get what you pay for. I have had this rig since new, and now it's like a completely different truck. Fun describes it best.
