We have the flatbed set on the frame.

None of the bolt holes are matching up so I need some clearance dimensions.

I think they must have aimlessly drilled holes LOL. Its a homebuilt flatbed.

How close can or should the bed be to the cab.

It has a headache rack on it too.

We have it setting not too bad on the frame but just need to "adjust" cab clearance.

Thanks again guys.

It's right against the cab, I'm not sure how much flexin' it'll do.

I'll probably go with 1. 5 inches.

Thanks

my flatbed has 2. 5 inch clearance. that leaves me enough room to wash the rear window with a carwash brush

Because of the location of the hole for the g/n ball, I have mine very close to the cab. Can't really even get a finger in between. Never been any issues in 2 yrs. Just have to be careful when backing up to a trailer or with a forklift.

KO perhaps reading your post and the answers will get me going on mine. Currently, mine (for the crew cab) is about twenty feet from the cab, on the ground.

I actually found a couple of holes that lined up with holes in my frame.

It set the clearance between the cab at around 2. 5 inches, a little more than I wanted BUT I wasn't gonna mess around with tryin' to re-line it since they lined up.

The bed is BUTT UGLY, but functional LOL.

it is 86" x 108"
