Just changed my front pads about one month ago. Bought them at NAPA and they said they were the best one's. This was the first time i have ever done a pad change, but it seemed simple enough. I did nothing to the rotors but these pads are the loudest thing i have ever heard. I even took them apart the other day and put some of that stop squeek stuff on them and they still squeel loud. Any sugestions?????

Sorry, I got the same thing and tried a couple of times to get rid of the squeek.

Living with it.

But aren't the free replacement pads nice????????

I've got the same problem except I used Mr Bob's Iron Claw pads, I also turned the rotors, lubed the pins, and flushed the brake lines. Still these are the noisest things I have ever heard! I talked to a friend of mine at the city shop (most of their public works and park board trucks are Dodges) and he told me to use OEM pads. He also said that Bendix makes a severe duty pad that won't squeea either. Everything else that they have tried squealed and nothing that they tried would make them stop.
