Hey guys, upon turning my truck, especially down hill, reversing there was a loud snap "pock" sound. Kinda startling, it has only happened twice so far, but I know it's not normal. I'm going to do the standard check-shocks, mounts, track bar, sway bar, springs, but is there anything specific you guys recomend? Thanks

Try checking the upper and lower suspension arm bushings. Might need to tighten them alittle. I had that noise too on my '96 chassis cab. Good luck!

Sounds like the C. A. D. collar may have tried to engage/disengage.

Were you just coming out of 4-wheel? Even if you were not I have heard of C. A. D. not disengaging all the way. If that happened it may have finally unloaded the collar so that it slid off and disengtaged when you reversed.

Just another thought. I know I,ve heard a bang,pop,clunk from my C. A. D. before.

mikeberry, yes the first time it happened I did just come out of 4wd and it was the louder of the 2 times, the second time was loud and noticeable, but not as bad as the first. Thanks for all the suggestions, gonna go check those control arms too, anybody know the torque of those bolts right off hand? Thanks
