Well going through town yesterday to get Famlly Pictures taken at the photo place. Im just going easy through traffic and start to pull a small hill going about 20 in 3rd when it decided to make a herindose grinding noise right as a crested the hill. I Quikly shifted into 4th and the noise went away. Wondering what it could be i got to the next light and as i started again i easely sliped it into 3rd there was that nasty noise again. Into the parking lot at Photo shop i put it into 2nd and idled in i could here a faint click..... click... ..... click in in 2 second intervals. Well the rest of the way home i was skip shifting from 2nd to 4rth had no problem doin so (loved all the smoke He He). I would hate to rebuld the Getrag knowing it may not last. this brings me to another ??? i have looked all over for the Best Price on a NV4500 trans and Kit. Standard Transmission and gear seem to be the best priced at $2150. NV4500 with 5th gear update and all nessisary parts for the the swap and will take my Getrag for a core. Has anyone delt with S. T. &G. also can you use the existing Flywheel clutch and pressure plate. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.....
