Wow, deja vu, all over again.
I got back from driving to Reno, NV this afternoon. I went there to pick up six Cooper ST tires and wheels for my dually. Which I purchased from Diesel Nut, aka Jason Kolker from Elk Grove, CA. Since Jason had to work his friend, Brandon, met me in Reno. Brandon has a 2G dually. Of course, I encouraged him to join TDR
I'm curious what it cost you to have a tire/wheel shipped? I figured it was going to be around $200 for six (Since TireRacks shipping cost for just tires was almost $98 in an earlier investigation).
I decided to drive out since winter is pending (overdue actually), I couldn't imagine Jason packaging up the tires/wheels, the weather was suppose to be beautiful, I figured the fuel would be about the same as shipping, but mainly because I was ready for a road trip. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip - but diesel prices are SO nasty. However, they are . 20 cheaper in NV along I80 than in ID and WY. Bluebird days, traffic was fine, and sleeping in the flatbed 'shack' was cozy, and it was cold enough that the dog water dish froze solid.
In summary, just another voice thanking TDR classifieds, and Jason and Brandon also.
