Brad,

Beautiful truck!!

for the conenser fins try the Kilby condenser guard from Geno's.

I put that on as wellas the Stainless cover to dress it up.

I want to do the pyro and trans gauges next.

Did the pillar mount really block that much sound?

Mike

Regarding the pillar mount and sound - I'm at a slight disadvantage as I have partial hearing loss in my left ear. However, when I turned my head to the right so that my ear was inline with the left front speaker, I could hear both sides in good stereo. I'm very picky about sound and sound imaging - not that any stock system would be superior to others, but it was an observation.

I could easily remove the pillar (I asked Josh to install extra wire and caps so that I could either move the gauges to a dash mount or overhead mount). Just one more attention to detail and going extra mile for the customer at no charge.

Let me know if you would like me to remove to check the sound and I'll get back to you on it.

Thanks,

Brad

Update

With all the discussion on the reflash and DPF, I thought it would be helpful to share some good news.

I have 875 miles on the truck now and will be putting another 500 miles on it this weekend.

Zero issues or problems with the truck and enjoying it very much.

JDarr:

I'll let you know about the P3 once I have a chance to use it. I will probably just rent a large trailer and run around for a day to break the engine in and try the P3 out. Josh recommended the P3 after the BrakeMaster, which is $400 dollars more. Thus, the P3 was the way to go for me.
