Any rumors/info on the ATS Aurora stuff?

Engine clatter increases with higher settings on Quad box

Decided to try a different turbo on top. Switched to a Bell WSB. Drive pressure dropped like a rock. Unfortunately my egts went up alot. Was hoping a slightly larger turbo would help. But this one is behaving just like the USB I had 2 years ago. My Dodgezilla runs 200 deg cooler than this once you get above 35 psi. Too bad. I figured it would be a keeper.

Man that sucks. You haven't had much luck getting things dialed in like you want. :(

Would a larger turbine housing on the DZ have worked better, to reduce the drive pressure, assuming one is a available?

Boy do I feel stupid. I called and talked to JR Adkins about the egts. I told him that it jumps to 1200 by the time I get to 40 psi. His response was, "So what does it do after that?. " I took it back out and pushed it harder. It seems to stop at 1200. Power seems about the same as the Dodgezilla setup. But, I am only running about 52 lbs of boost now at less than 45 lbs of drive pressure. Compared to 60lbs boost 75lbs of drive. I think it might be progress, but when i think I usually screw up.

I am glad I tried a bigger setup. But I don't care for the way the truck runs. Robbing from the bottom to add to the top isn't my cup of tea. I could add alot more fuel to it and probably go up another 75 or so hp pretty easily. But It smokes more than I would like already. I'm going to change to a PDR35/12 with this external gate and turn the fuel down a little. I think 450-475hp with good torque starting at 1300 rpm is more to my liking. I get to use that all the time. If it's all on top it's hard to enjoy without a smoke show or a ticket to boot.
