I would like to add a set of skyjacker coils to my truck for leveling purpose. I see on skyjacker website they list a d25 and a d45..... anyone running one of these setups? Which spring will make it level? Should I also get longer shocks?

thanks.

The D25 is the leveling spring, The D45 is the spring for the 4" lift. It will be a benefit to you if you to get some longer shocks. I would recommend a set of Bilstein 5100's.

But, I would also encourage you to try the KORE Leveling kit.

I have the D25's in mine, they started out @ 2. 5" lift but have settled down to 1. 5" (might have something to do with the 1000lb that was hanging on it early in life). 2. 5 actually raised the frontend a little higher than the rear. The D25's can sag easily if you really cycle the suspension but the Kore won't, Kore's springs will even support that 1000 lb plow w/o sagging. you don't have to replace the shocks but you should.

I Have The D25's On Mine And It Leveled Mine Perfect 41 1/2 In The Front To The Fender And Same For The Rear.

Tell me more of this settling. Debating on the spring kit. Does anyone make a 2. 5" metal spacer like what is used in most leveling kits (2. 0")?

On edit: looking at 35x18s on a 10" wide rim. With 4. 5" backspacing I have on 17x9s currently, my 35s rub slightly with 2" spacers. I don't want to have the new set rub any worse.

I also have the D25. There is a 1. 5-3" adjustible posted on another thread,(opps, there 2wd) but you still end up with the stock spring. I can't say for everyone, BUT, I noticed a SMOOTHER ride with the skyjackers.

i also have the leveling springs,6 months no problems on a 3500 dually you do have to change the shocks with this set up. Good Luck

You know that I just installed the Kore kit on my truck and it will make a difference. See what your truck will look like in a few months with cheap springs. Sometimes you may need to spend a little more to get better quality that will last. Check with DRC and you can just get the springs from Greg Boardman. http://desertracingconcepts.net/welcome.htm
