It wants to turn but sounds like its clogged. I bypassed the rely to make sure that was not the problem. I will remove and investigate.

Has anybody had theirs clog? Do I rebuild or send it to them, it's 4 months old.

How many miles did you get out of it. i think when mallory goes, i will go straight to the aeromotive a1000 with the bypass regulator and return line to the tank, this seems to be a solid combo

Damn, that was the marine version of the 140 ??? You could try replacing the brushes, which you can get here http://www.centuryperformance.com/index.htm . Mallory will charge about $50. 00 for a repair, if it's needed.

I have two spare Mallory 4150's, if you need a pump to get you by for a few weeks, let me know and I'll send one your way next day air.

4 months old=DEAD They covered it new one on the way. I had a 10 micron filter in front of it so debres was not a problem.

Whats the latest and greatest fuel pump setup these days. Is the Aeromotive the Hot setup?

Jordan

Chris S. probably has the best Aeromotive set up right now. Chris punched a hole in the bottom of his tank and added a bung, for a true gravity feed. He's running an Aeromotive AEI-11101 (Summit Racing part #) with a Aeromotive return regulator, which is required as this pump is capable of 45 psi's. I believe that Chris has over one years use on this set up now.

10 months to be exact and she still is putting out like the first day we met--knock on wood---my goal is to get at least 2 years out of this pump due to its price, but only time will tell-----chris

Chris,

Got any pictures of the feed off the bottom of the tank? install pics/notes etc. ?? parts list?

Sorry for all the questions. I've been thinking of replacing the pickup in my tank for a while.

I'd like to find out more about your setup if it's no too much trouble.

Thanks,

Mark

Mark--email me so I can email you back with the attachment of photos---I'll try to get the part #'s I know Big Saint posted the regulator and pump #'s on one of the lift pump threads going but I've got a prefilter also-- -- email address removed --... ... chris
