Aron brought it down from Central Wisconsin. I think they did or are going to park it and make it permanent. There is a dyno in downtown Joliet that will have us. I talked to them last year.
Hey guy's, keep this updated as I'd like to go to this and meet some TDR member's some time. As for now I have big plan's for the Lima Ohio show coming up in a few month's, which I'm sure I'll see a few! Last year I wasn't a member, but I saw a lot of cool cummin's runnin' around there. I can't wait!
I did not know about the Morris dyno. I am currently talking to ATR in Joliet who also has a dyno. After that we could go to Minooka where my friend has a shop, do a cookout bonfine etc. Last year it was 70 degrees all week and then was in the 20's on Saturday of the event. Thinking mid may this year.
Is it a week long event or a day or two. Im usually out of town m-w. Id definately like to go. Neither is a far drive for me. If things dont work out with the dyno in joliet give tmw a call. I still think they are a banks dealer also. I use to run the dyno when it was on loan to Hahn Racecraft in Yorkville. I never dynoed a diesel though. Mostly turbo'd fwd cars.
Sure Karl. We let the 'Stroker run last year. I think we can stand D-max. :-laf We won't run you out on a rail. :-laf :-laf
Dennis- If it is in May, I'll be be there, weather permitting, or if I'm not running OTR.
If those shops that are already suggested don't want to do it, there is one in Port Byron. Cerra Racing, I believe was the name. Right along hwy 84. Just a few miles north of I-80, for those who don't know where Port Byron is.
Never been there, but have been told that they have diesels there quite a it. I know propuller goes there.
I was at the one in port byron a few years back. Dont think they were using any load cause my old truck would hardly hit 20 psi on the boost. But it was a real nice place, decent size parking.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. You want to talk to Tom@ TMW his number is 815-370-1224. Tell him Craig told ya to call. Ive been told he had a diesel group there and had to ad ducting for the diesel smoke afterward. lol
Got a hold of Tom. Sounds like we can make a deal. The dyno is in Joliet near larkin and rt 6. Lets look at dates. I don't want to schedule it on top of another event.
