St. Louis Area TD Get Together For June

Going drag racing 7/6 - Mid Michigan Motorplex

Well, I changed my friend's fuel filter this afternoon... He gave me 20 bucks for the filter, and will sign up on TDR tomorrow via the computer!

Another NW BOMBer! Woo Hoo!

Hey! Are you saying I am using bad tactics to get these guys to join!? LOL... just showing them the "light"!

He is the fourth one this month!

Amen!

Rob, you should be praised for reaching out to those who are in darkness guiding them into the light. Hallelujah! You have done well, my good man! Those you have helped will find happiness and fulfillment with their trucks.

Andy

It kind of makes me feel like some kind of drug dealer or something. I know that if I can get them to spend an hour or two on tdr, they will be hooked. At least it isn't illegal!

I just talked to him and he signed up this morning!

Bad Tactics!!!??? I can just imagine the tactics: " Hey, Buddy, have a look at this. Sure, go ahead, doesn't cost anything to look. ' Then you set the hook and BAM they are addicted.

They're spending hours a day at the PC.

They're spending the family budget on the truck, their kids will never be able to go to college.

The wife can't get anything checked off the Honey-Do list. She's talking to a lawyer.

They start checking to see if anyone has posted on their thread while they are at work. The boss threatens to fire them.

See what you started? All with one little peek. :D

BTW chuck3,

I felt bad about joining the other site so I joined here, too. Just to even things out. ;)

Well, another friend is signing up as I type this! He bought a dark garnet dually... same guy I BOMBed the PSD for. Traded it in and got a Cummins. Not sure what he will use for a name... maybe JVick or something.

He already is looking to add an exhaust brake... more BOMBs to come!

Thanks for the compliment, Bob... but I really do it for myself, too. I love tearing into an engine for injector swaps! And the look on their faces is sometimes priceless!

Its really an easy sell on TDR... I just save them some money and tell them how I learned to do it... right here from other's experience. Then, I try to pass that experience on to someone else.

The TDR is without a doubt the most informative site I have ever been to. (although some of the others are truly amazing!). :D

That's It!!!!

 OK, what's your point?

Seriously, Rob, great job!

..... ya done good boy!

Hey Rob,

There really is only a hand full of people out there that do alot of work for other members like you do, and alot of that hand full is right here on TDR. We all have lives and families and are busy but you always seem to make time to help others, and that is rare. Even though I have never had any work done by you, you have offerd several times and I wish I would live a little closer then I would have saved my self a few $$$$, plus gained some knowledge. Anyway I think I speak for all the NWers in saying thanks to you and John etc... . For you time and effort. (Ill bet you now think I need something done huh? ;) )

Anyway Im looking forward to meeting you and everyone else at timberline!!

Sky

Three cheers for Rob!

Thanks for the kind words Sky however (and it is a big HOWEVER), it is Rob that deserves ALL the recognition. Rob coordinates, hosts, and participates very extensively at all the NW BOMBer get togethers. He has performed many injector installations plus a multitude of other enhancements for Rammers/friends and/or NW BOMBers on a one on one basis in his "spare " time. That's just the great kind of guy Rob is. :)

Another big thank you should go to Dave Perea for all the supplies he has provided the NW BOMBers to complete work projects in a professional manor. :)
