1st Time Diesel

1st Diesel Maint. Suggestions Needed

This is my third CTD an 05 2500 quad cab black with auto, just ordered a leer cap. Its an SLT Thunder Road version. I love the wheels this one is really cool. I Love reading all the the great posts. Look forward to a long friendship with this site and its members. Where's the best place to get gauges, and should they be electronic like from edge? Thanks

Welcome to the TDR! Gauges are a personal preference item. Some prefer electronic gauges some prefer analog. Myself I prefer analog gauges because they are easier (quicker) to read. Check out our links page for vendors on gauges and you can search those vendor names on here (pull down the discussion forums menu to search) to see what other people's experience with that vendor has been.

Welcome CMullen,

I've searched high and low for good prices on gauges for both my old '93 D250 and my father in laws 2004 3500. Genos is the place to buy in my opinion. I couldn't find any places with better prices and I've never had a problem with them. I'm now looking to buy gauges for my new CTD and have taken a liking to the new Issapro gauges that look the most like our OEM's. The only problem is that I would like to use the 3 gauge pod on the dash and the new Issapros only come in the pyro, boost, and trans. temp. I have the 6 speed so I don't need the trans. temp. I'm hoping that when I'm ready to plunk down my money, they have either a oil pressure or even a oil temp gauge available.
