Howdy all,



Been reading the forum for quite some time and have learned a lot. Definetly my favorite thing to do early in the morning. Looking forward to getting into some of the action. I have done the power window mod for use without the key, and added after market back up lights. Installed my Pac Brake and Guages. Don't mind getting my hands dirty at all. I think my next project will be the 2 wd lo, I really miss hubs for this reason... .

Welcome to the TDR. Dynatrac makes a kit to change over to hubs, its in this quarters mag. I like that area you are in. I go through there when I head to Reno, beautiful drive. Bomb On, Sam. .

to make windows operate without key on:



get into the fuse panel inside drivers door, pull the fuse for the windows, make yourself a jumper wire that will go from one side of the fuse to the HOT side of the Power seat fuse. make another jumper to go from other half of window fuse to the MOTOR side of your windows. WALLA!!



you can find adapters to fit into the fuse slots, but I just stripped the wire and jammed it in with the fuse on the seat side. and ground down a regular terminal for the window side.



My wife likes it, because I would always turn the truck off before she got her window up
