Well, it's all done. I finished up this morning, and it wasn’t too bad. The clutch engages very smoothly, and the transmission is easy to shift. The shifter is not a reach at all anymore. I don’t even have to move my elbow off of the console to shift! It is much quieter now that the transfer case lever isn't vibrating, and the getrag isn't growling. The driving experience is now much more pleasant.
I was really surprised how complete the conversion kit was. It had everything except rubber transmission mounts, t-case oil, and 1 quart transmission oil. Locktite, gaskets, silicone, anti-seize, etc. was all included. Shorter pressure plate bolts were needed because the clutch was replaced. The kit assumes you will be reusing the original clutch. I found the video to be quite helpful. If I was uncertain of the written directions, I could actually see what was being described. I recommend this kit to anyone interested in doing the conversion.
