The Fifth Element movie questions

Rad, where did you get the Auto lock? I tried a couple websites and they both bailed on me after I put in my CC# (Always a great feeling). I got the LX Club at Walmart and plan on using these 2 in combo with a kill switch on my new truck or my old one if I ever get it back.

Patrick... I found them at the Arrowhead mall at 101 and Bell in a store called. . As Seen On TV. $69. 99 each. They had 3 left. They are marked as "Final Sale Item", and the store is giving no refunds if they don't fit. Mine fit the clutch pedal loosely. . doesn't snug really tight against the floor, but it works. I am also thinking about a kill switch.

Good luck and drive carefully. There are some lousy drivers in this town.

well, i spend a few hours wiring in a kill switch. wired it in series with the factory clutch safety switch. i did take pictures of where i hid my switch and how i ran the wiring to it, but i don't really want to post them to the public, but i am willing to post them so they can be viewed [will need to have my permission to view them on my webshots gallery]

Well it was my turn last night. My wife and I woke up to a loud noise at 3 AM. The dog started barking and I grabbed some protection and went searching in the house and garage and found nothing.

We went back to bed and my wife went out this morning to get something and the passenger window was smashed. The dog must have scared whoever it was away because nothing was bothered in the truck.

I clipped the clutch wires this morning before I left for work. A switch is going to get installed tommorow if the weather clears up.

I guess I am going to have to find a place for the dirt bikes so I can park it in the garage.

I wired a trip line across the drive with a remote that will set off a buzzer in the house just in case they decide to come back.

This is really starting to get under my skin.

what happens......................

for those of us that have not driven a manual trans in a great while, what happens in the starting sequence when the clutch position sensor is not activated (a. k. a. I cut the jumper wire).

lights, camera, action just no juice to the starter or what ? and, giggle, I wouldn't have to tell the kids about it either!!!! dad, the truck won't start. mom, can I use your car???????

Everything will work, Except the starter.

*Turn the key to start,, and NADA, NOTHING*

Remember,, If they get the clutch in,, the don't need the starter to turn your truck on! Just get some speed, put it in gear with the key ON, and let the clutch out. I've been having to start my truck like that last couple of days because the VP44 is going out.

(HINT:, Always Park with your wheels full lock, and it's hell to get the wheels straightened out with the motor off. )
