ya'll did such a good job last time i asked about a product, i figured i'd try another one.

:D

i was at a body shop in austin, getting an estimate on some car damage. the owner had a line of car care products i've never heard of, and he raved about it. the products are from germany and the brand is klasse. he had a product called "all in one", and another called "high gloss sealant glaze. " the products were fairly pricey, but not as bad as zymol, and he swears it is superior to waxes. anyone out there familiar with these products? i'd like to have some input other than the man that sells it.

I was turned on to this product right here on these forums about three months ago- it is a great product. :) :) The "all in one" is a polish/sealer and it works very well. I had badly oxidized paint and it cleaned it up nicely. Did it make it look like a new paint job?? No- nothing but a new paint job can. It did make the truck shine and restore the gloss like no other product I've ever tried. (And I've tried em all!!) I would highly reccomend them, the other product to get along with it is the "high gloss sealant"- name says it all. It'll make it last alot longer. I did mine three months ago and it still beads water and looks like it did that afternoon when I applied it.

BTW- The stuff aint cheap- but it goes a long way, and lasts a long time.

I found the best prices at Klasse Direct

You can find them at alot of high end detail shops.

Try it!! :D:D:D

So what is it about Klasse that makes it so much better than waxes and polishes. I was considering tring Zaino Bros. products after I finished my current supply of Meguires Professional. Now I don't know which is better, Zaino Bros or Klasse? Can anyone help:confused:

the reason given to me by the body shop owner as to why it is so much better is that it actually absorbs down into the paint. he said that waxes all serve as a barrier to elements but stay on the exterior of the paint. they therefore are subject to deteriation from soap, water, acids, etc. . the klasse is a sealant that goes down into the paint and bonds with it, and then the glaze puts exactly that on top of it. he said you can realistically expect the results to last 6-8 months minimum. he also stated that a bottle will last for years, not months, due to the small quantities it takes to use it. he also said that it will make/keep your colors much deeper, such as black being more black, etc. .

thanks, Dkevdog, for the input. i will be heading back to austin early next week and plan to buy the products and try them out.

:)

I guess I'm a little skeptical of products with claims that seem too good to be true. I'm no paint expert, so I don't know the validity of this product absorbing into and bonds with the paint.

Any paint guru members out there who can add some input? How about some "testemonials" from members. If the Klasse products are as good as the advertiments claim, then this stuff is the ticket for me;)
