another puter question

Every once and a while I will download digital pictures from my camera to folders and then when I attach them to a message some will attach and others will not. There is just a little square with a red X in the centre. What does that means and why is it doing it? I also notice it on other websites I go to look at. Been trying to fiqure this out for some time and from other computor questions posted here I know there is somebody with the answer

You need to keep track of which file types and sizes fail. If there's a pattern there, it'll lead you to the source of the problem.
