A write up on 2020 GM trucks.

2011 Ram 3500, ISL 8.9L, sled puller

From my days with undercoating it would eventually start cracking and give the salt and moisture in resulting in rust.

Pushing snow, or farm use... where trucks go to die.

That's where our old 04.5 is right now. Sitting behind my sister and brother-in-law's garage with the plow and spreader on it. He will use it until it finally dies. As it is now, it is too rusted to have inspected and not enough left of it to try and fix it up.

I've used either Krown or Fluid Film from day one, both an oil based coating. Once it dries up its just gone. I'm not aware of any "new age" undercoating that's rubberized anymore. At least nothing that is effective with current road treatments.

Your Cummins/6speed? The drivetrain alone is worth more than most dedicated plow trucks I know of around here.

We really need to get you a lift Mike. It makes jobs like this so much easier.

Or at least a Magic Creeper, I will never go back to cardboard.
