I just received my VON number from Adam. He had the best price anywhere I can not wait until I get the VIN and est. shipping date. I want to thank everyone here who recommended Adam to me. He is the best to deal with and works very hard to get you the truck you want at a price you can be happy with. He is currently working with a local dealer to drop the "courtesy delivery" charge given the amount on money I will be spending on accessories to make my baby look exactly the way I want her to. Yes Alaska dealership charges an outrageous charge for drop shipping a vehicle to them. They say it is to prevent people from going outside of the state to purchase a vehicle. Well, that is exactly what I did considering no dealership would email me back at all (over two weeks waiting) and what they wanted for a truck wasn't even close then what Adam quoted. I will still be able to get my truck (exactly the way I want with all the accessories) and it will still be cheaper then what they wanted for the trucks they had on their lots.

Your experience was similar to mine. When I was interested in ordering a 07. 5, on Dec 26, 27 & 28, 2006, the local dealer wouldn't dance. So, I went to TDR and ask fellow members who they would recommend that I should vote with my dollar. Out of all the calls and emails I sent only 2 (two) were seriously interested in my business. Of course Adam Macomber, got my business. The money I saved and the service I received is bench mark history. Why can't these other guys figure it out? I assume they are not hungry. Oh,... ... ... it keeps getting better. This 6. 7 Cummins is the best vehicleI have ever owned.

Unfortunitly I will not be driving from Spokane, WA to Alaska with my truck as I can not get that much time off but will be driving from Anchorage, AK to Homer and take the ferry to Kodiak. I am looking forward to getting the new truck.

Got an email from Adam this morning. My truck went into framing and if all goes well it should ship on Friday. Then its the long wait (30 days :{ ) before it gets to Anchorage and dealer install of the options. So by the end of June I should be able to post pictures of her. I can not wait.

Update

Just got an update from Adam. My truck shipped today via railcar. I am tracking it now. It is going to be interesting to see how long it takes to get to Anchorage, AK.
