Another Smarty question

So I am searching but can't find it.



Was the CaTCHER the first upgrade from Marco? I see it as a preprogrammed ECM that you put in after taking your stock ECM out?



The Smarty is just a remote plug-in programmer that you use to program your STOCK ECM? I think I have that right?



If so, that answers my question, if not please enlighten me!

You are correct the Smarty is a Program Downloader that plugs into the OBDII port and down loads new programming into stock ECM.

and the cr smarty starts at 30hp and increases power to 170+ on the 04. 5 and higher trucks. A little less for the 03-04

Smarty supercedes the MadECM... or you could say that the MadECM evolved into Smarty.
