The VIN confirms that it's a '98 but that style of interior was last seen in '94 on light duty GM trucks -- 1500, 2500, 3500 series.

Top Kicks share the same rough measurements as their C/K Ciblings. That is the Dash and seats are correct for a 1998. That Carpet anyway came out of a 4X4 at some point and the hacked in 1. 5 din stereo kinda looks el cruddo..... Other than that and being a gas pig... .

If we can figure out how to do it without anyone noticing, we've got a twin turbo K-19 at work that screams to be used for more than a stand-by generator. 10 years old, 950 hours, 750 hp and the paint on it still shines. I was looking but I don't think it'll fit in my truck!

being that it is GM truck, one should put an old 8V71 detriot in it, they work great with allison trannies, but being the 21st century, an 8V92 would be more appropriate
