another towing mirror question

Non electric, has lost the tension to hold the mirror in the adjusted location. Just moves around with ease. Was wondering if anyone could tell me how to removed it from the housing.

Thanks Thomas, but the link doesn't work. After a long time searching I finally found an old post by Sticks with pictures and his fix for the problem. I was hoping it was not going to be that involved.
