I have the 605 plate, and the limiting factor is largely the torque convertor clutch, and mine has it's work cut out for it, replace the tc if you want to go higher, or you may shred the whole works.

Mine would not even handle stock torque. When I had it replaced at DTT the third gear clutch was toasted and the T/C had visual signs of stress.

bd had done a transmission for my truck and I have alot of power #ad
I also do alot of racing so its going to be put through it paces for sure. The only thing its missing is the "new" tc so I can transmit almost all of my power rather than most.
BD has been great in there support and are great people. Steve in the transmission shop is exellent in his knowledge of trannys and in explaining things to help me. Also before I forget Brian has more hair than it seems. #ad

My stock Dodge transmission went to
98,000 miles before a "rebuild" was
needed. I had a #6 TST plate along
with a "Trans-Go" Shift Kit. At
98,000 miles the "shuddering" started
and shortly thereafter the slippage.
