Another Trip To The Shop For My 04.5!!

Number two tow job within two weeks for my 600!!! Diesel fuel in the oil again. Said its the number five injector that went bad. First trip was the number one injector. So thats two new injectors and two weeks without my work truck. I'm not happy, one more trip and its lemon law time. :-{}

Agree. It's things like this that caused me to dump my Ford PSD.



They *should* replace all six injectors at once, and be done with it, but I guess the beancounters won't allow that.

I asked about changing all six, they said if its not broke don't fix it. plus each is $600+

man I'm glad injectors for a second gen aren't that spendy. $500. 00 for a set of 80hp.

I bought a used set on ebay for $355 for my 04 and had them drilled out, beats buying a stock set for $3000+
