Another warranty denied (maybe)

I was at Frahm Dodge this morning and took my favorite mech out to lunch while I was starting the process in purchasing the new C&C I want to order and was told about a 5. 9 that is trashed and the computer was zeroed at one point which is the new way of detecting chips and unless the owner can prove he reset it by a trouble code detecter as he claims, by demonstrating it in front of the mechanics, warranty will be denied. Dodge is getting tired of the chips blowing engines and getting repaired under warranty, its no wonder my new truck is around 42K W/O the bed which is another 9K before taxes.
