Sorry guys but I do not know, and I want to give my buddy at least a decent idea.



He's considering selling his truck and wants to know what a good price is.

Reg Cab

Don M 370 Injectors

Scotty II

New wheels (AR Baja look-a-likes)

New tires 305/70/16 Courser A/T's

Pioneer CD player

Tow package + gooseneck & brake box

Body is in very good shape, truck has a little over 260K miles, maybe closer to 270K now (haven't talked to him in a while).



I have no idea what to price his truck at, all of these BOMB's have been done within the last year too.



So if someone can help me out I'd appreciate it.

I don't have a clue... but you can do a search. There are web-sites out there where you give all that info and it will give you both "High" and "Low" book.

go to www.traderonline.com and look at similar vehicle prices, this is the best way Ive found to get current price ideas

Do you guys look at Kelly Blue Book or NADA or somewhere else to get a ballpark price? Also, I know you can't pass along the complete $$$ for BOMB-ing, but I don't want to eat all the cost, either. Is there some percentage or "average" amount that can be added to the book value for aftermarket parts?

Adding the price for aftermarket parts is really only going to help you get a better price from someone that wants them. Somebody that doesn't want or know anything about bombing might be turned away from the jacked up price. And besides most banks are only going to loan about 80% of the trucks cost in KBB or NADA and not even bother with the Bombs. So the buyer has to fork over the extra $$$ for the bombs.

Edit: Anyway a 95 CTD with that many miles is going to bring around $8-10,000 and even less on trade-in. Course the price depends on the area too, some places deisels bringer a higher price some places lower.
