I am just getting readdy to leave on vacation with my 3100lb Bigfoot Camper on board when my check engine light comes on and I have so little power I can't even get out of my driveway. Call dealer and he can get me in but I have to take the camper off to get into his bay:( . He gets me in my mid day and tells me it is a bad MAP sensor and the soonest they can get one is on Monday, today is Friday. :{ Oh, wll it looks like the comfortable vacation with the Dodge and camper has turned into a tent trip in my wifes Tacoma:{ :{ . Boy am I glad this didn't happen at Hells Canyon. How much are these sensors and should we be caring a spare?

Good Luck on getting one from DC. I am still trying to get my truck from being a pig when towing and was going to try replacing the Intake Air Sensor, MAP Sensor and wastegate actuator. The MAP sensor is only available from DC (STAR) with a warranty claim and corresponding trouble code from the dealer. The wastegate actuator is only available if you do the same except the entire turbo needs to be replaced. The IAT sensor is available @ $90. Perhaps a Cummins dealer could be the best avenue to pursue... Keep us posted as I am still trying to resolve my low towing power, 8-10 mpg towing/14-16 mpg empty situation as I have gotten to the point where DC says that they will do no more to try to resolve the problems!
