Sounds like you did alright! All the sites that I've checked the 304 is a lot more expensive than the 409

Thats why I couldn't pass on the deal. Now I gotta start trying to figure out WHAT I'm gonna do to this truck next... . My wife is getting nervous, last time I got done "dollin' up" my personal truck, I traded it in on this one... . hahaha. .

Well, heres a follow up on my exhaust system... . It has KILLED my fuel mileage!!!. . Thats right, almost 5 MPG!!!!!. . I have checked and rechecked it!!. I am really at a loss as to what went wrong, All I did was remove some pipe, and installed some much prettier pipe, and BAM loss 5 MPG!.

Ok, with that being said, heres how I lost it. The dang truck sounds so good at 72 mph, but it REALLY sounds good at about 85 mph pulling a hill!!!. . And in town, if you keep the boost down at about 5 psi leaving a red-light it sounds good, but if you leave a red light at about 15 psi it sounds SOOO good that I just can't stop... If fuel was still $4. 35 a gallon, my ears would be writing checks that my wallet couldn't cash!!!...

Wingate, glad it sounds so good! I've been thinking about a Silverline for a long time, just need to save up some cash!! Now if only you could keep your foot out of it!

No, well... ... . OK, the Cat is still in the truck, but its in the bed, along with the rest of the original exhaust system... Just haven't unloaded it into my barn yet. Guess I could say that by hauling the old exhaust system around, technically, i'm pulling a load, and THATS what is contributing to my poor fuel mileage... not my right foot!!!!... hahaha... .
