can't believe this crap with less then 2 weeks to the dyno event and the new dtt twins coming and what happens. One of those dumb goats got in my path and i locked them up tried to avoid it at all cost but that animal walked gracefully right infront of me going 65. It was almost dusk and i didn't even really see him until he stepped onto the road and that was about the end of him. smashed one piaa light, ruined the bumper chrome and painted frontal areas on both sides, hair and blood all down the drivers side. The tire rubbed upon turning but i pulled the bumper away and then as long as i didn't turn too sharply it wouldn't rub. what a damn nightmare. The thing just walked as calm as ever right in front. Locked them up smacked him started going off the road to the right, tried to stay on the road but linear poles were looking to do some more damage so i gave in and did some off road. I had a digi and thought about taking a pic of the antelope but hell even i'm not that sick of a freak. I called animal control told them to come and clean him up and then got home and called barry baily who is to insurance what laser bob is to the truck mechanics industry here in fort collins. I don't know what's up with how this works now i've never even really been but in one other wreck and that was 13 years ago. I will post pics of the damage though i can't believe how tough that damn thing was. (certainly not ram tuff though)
anything i need to be aware of with dealing with the insurance folks and i've heard that with a wild animal like this they don't even raise your premiums, anybody know if that is true?
I've never hit any animal ever in my life and people were surprised i wasn't sad over the animal. More like mad, even irate, at myself for not seeing it and also at the dumb animal for not having any sense. Still i'm the one who needs to avoid that confrontation and i failed at that. So now i am just gonna put a candle in the head and pray to lucifer... ... . no way not in a million years. STill a major bump if you will in the road to the original plan.
