AKaiser, get the FMDirect module. It will eliminate the FM interference.

I actually bought one, but haven't put it in yet. However, that's not my problem. My problem is an intermittent signal loss in populated areas that can only be explained by signal interference to the satellite signal, not the FM transmitter signal.

I have installed both of those kinds of units. the sirius relay(cheaper one) works great in my truck. I put one in a friends 03 Durango and it was killing her regular fm reception. I installed one of those units that hook inline to the 6disc changer and it works great. no noise and the unit will allow you to use an Ipod and other inputs also. it allows like three additional addon devices.
