Hello
To coin a phrase "I can tell you", living in Alaska and dealing with Fuels on board ships I have seen I mean SEEN the ULSD GEL at 10 degrees inside of pumps used to transfer fuel to the ships! I can ALSO tell you doing Winters in ALASKA and MONTANA with temps reaching below - 30 degrees and using HOWES I have had no gelling Issues in MY CTD or my Rental properties as I treat those fuel tanks with HOWES as well. I will also say LAST winter in JUNEAU with a severe cold spell a friends CTD would not start due to Gelling I added 16 oz of howes to his tank cycled the lift pump a few times and the truck started. he is now a believer in Howes The heater does not heat that very small and long suction line from the tank to the lift pump. when I travel I always carry Howes with me. The only time my truck Gelled was using powerservice before I switched to Howes.
my 2 cents worth
have a great day
Chris
