Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Antifreeze leak

I have a slow drip coming from the radiator petcock. Does anyone know if you can take the petcock completely out, and is there a o-ring or something to replace? Thanks

Yes there is an o-ring, turn petcock counter clockwise and pull at same time to open!!!

make sure it is coming from the petcock and not the seam right above it. two weeks ago i thought my petcock was leaking but a much harder look determined the stock readiater was seperating at the seam right above the petcock.

Pulled the petcock out and there was'nt anything left of the o-ring. A quick trip to the dealer and $6. 00 got me a new petcock with o-ring.
