T Gaines, you can verify KDP w/ external visual

T gaines, SnoDawg and I just did KDP Friday night... ... . you can verify prior compliance with small inspection mirror and bright flashlight under fan pulley mount by looking for countersunk cap screw (if you know where and what to look for). I looked, it can be done. Good luck... ..... if not done, do it before "it" does you. :)

If you look on my website (the link in my sig. ) you can see a pic. of a "Killed" KDP. Then you'll see where to look for the screw head. :)

Alaska emissions

Alaskagrizz,

What is the deal with the emissions in Alaska? Are they strict on the diesels driven up there? Have you done anything to your exhaust, and if not, is is possible with their laws? Just pondering with upgrades in mind.

Thanks,

Travis

Not much in the way of emissions up here for diesels. I purchased mine from an area where there are no emission checks and upon registering it I had to get a "DIESEL EXEMPTION" from the state. It consisted of starting the vehicle for tech to hear, upon which he put a sticker on the windsheild and told me go away. I believe the emissions programs are the same in FBX as the state runs them... As for any gas guzzlers you may have Good luck!

Quite right

Yep had to wait for the guy to finish a phone call, come outside, listen to my truck, then install the sticker. I want this guys job. It used to be that no listen test was needed but there was guys buying old chebby diesels and swapping in smallblocks to bypass the IM here in Anchorage.
