The box has a sticker that claims 25 to 125 HP gains. The instructions claim 25 to 100 HP gains.

This is kinda confusing :-{}

I don't want the Attitude, I like my gages and my ability to run it like I want. The whole point of adding a box is to do away with factory safeguards, now I'm supposed to buy more?

I've sat back quietly looking at these boxes, but the Quad box is looking better now that the '03 Juice is actually/finally available.

Can you pick what parameters you want to monitor and can you monitor trans temp via the OEM thermistor?

Also are there user selectable warnings to get your attention to the display or only user selectable defueling?

The overhead looks the best IMO but the A-Pillar seems more user friendly, wonder if you could mount it over the 2" hole on an SRT-10 A pillar??

The Attitude won't display trans temp. It will let you set the EGT, boost and speed alert limits that you want. It is a real nice package IMO. I just wish mine would run right. Put one on my '03 a couple of weeks ago and it surges constantly, regardless of the power level or RPM range. And it almost died on me at a stop light a few minutes ago before I could get it shut off. Needless to say it stays off most of the time.

So far I have got these codes: P0193, P2146, P2149. Been talking to Edge about it and they have not given me a solution yet. Anybody have any ideas? I seen a thread on here about quad users having the same problems. Would like to hear from an Juice owner that has experienced this. Thanks.

Installed

Fellow HP Junkies,

Installed a new Juice w/ Attitude last night along with an ATS Ex Manifold, Turbo from River City Turbo, and AFE Stage II. Oh yeah, I adjusted the valves too (couple loose @ 60K). Anyway, I haven't had the time to fool with the Attitude a lot yet, but the features and menus are great. 5/5 is awesome!!! SMOKE and POWER... I installed using the overhead mount above the rear view mirror. Install is easy, but you have to trim some of the molding flash from around the hole where the controller mounts. I painted mine to match the interior. Wal-Mart has Krylon Fusion for plastic that is almost identical to the interior (I can't tell the difference). I'm going to post some pictures of the complete install along with a side by side of the turbos. I don't know what all this stuff is going to do for mileage, but today is a 650 mile trip, so needless to say I better get going. :D

Autometer A-pillar

Autometer rep (while on a quest for a 0-30psi fuel guage), told me that they are comming out with an "edge + 1" a-pillar setup. This setup include the housing for the Edge Attitude monitor plus one normal pod guage. I figure since I'm runing the 6speed to drop in the fuel pressure guage. I did suggest a + 2 version for the weenies with auto's :)

Also, Auto meter does make a fuel pressure guage that will run from 0-30, also they do have a "Fix" with some diesel shop down in texas to prevent the electronic sending unit from breaking from stock lift pump shocking it when you turn on the truck. .

Got to hand it to the guys at Edge. They sent me a new Juice, just put it in an hour or 2 ago and it runs great. No codes or surging this time, just a bunch of freaking power. Can't wait to get a trailer behind it and see how it pulls. There may be better boxes out there, but I think I'm going to be happy with this one for now.

I have sold and personally run the Juice HOT BOX on my 305/555 and it seems to be the smoothest and most trouble free box I have ran, and I have ran pretty much every box known for this truck.

I just want to drop a line in here that I bought mine from Rip at a very good price. He took care of me and even dropped a personal E-Mail thanking me for the business and the tracking number. I would recommend at least giving Rip a shot at taking care of you. I have nothing against Mark so don't take this as a flame on him but Competition is good for us, right?
