I recall about a year ago, that someone did just that at a Cummins dealer. It turned out to be quite a pain. He doesn't seem to be a member anymore, either. Or else he doesn't post in 1st gen, at least. If I recall his commentary (the archives are N/A right now), he used all the clutch, starter, bellhousing, etc, just as it was from the truck, but the biggest pains were getting the linkages to work right, and the turbo outlet and motor air inlet were all wrong, too. I seem to recall there being an issue with there not being enough travel in the throttle assembly, and a tight fit around the pump or filters and steering? Not to mention the fuel supply and return locations don't match at all.
