Any carpenters or woodworkers

I am trimming out the interior of some windows and needed some fresh ideas to look at. If any of you guys know of any sites for ideas on window trim etc please let me know. I like craftman style for trim but need a few different pics for other ideas. THANKS

I get Fine Homebuilding magazine and I remember seeing a really good article about different custom trim styles for windows and doors. All I have to do now is to find the issue. I will look and if I find it I'll post back.

If you have wide sills, I make a nice looking sill from 2X Oak.



Simple, but enough angles to make it look really nice.

One of these days I'll snatch a picture of one.

I also have a planer/moulder and a shaper. You are not that far away, if want to have your own design, buy the bits, and come on over, we'll make some dust!

Fine Homebuilding does have a website. I don't know what's on it or if you can access for free or not. I think it's finehomebuilding.com? Although it is one of my favorite publications, I barely have time to read it anymore much less access the site.

Bud, I did find the article. It's in Fine Homebuilding Oct/Nov 1995 issue #98. You can try to get from your local library, through, http://www.Finehomebuilding.com. I think they are like $6. 95, or if that doesn't work out for you let me know. If your a little patient I'll try to scan the article on to the computer and e-mail them to you. BTW there are some really nice simple designs.
