Aftermarket ECM?

Who has a Grand Cherokee...

I am looking hard at purchasing a Cat 930 rubber tired loader for a project that I have. I bought 13 acres 2 miles down the road to build a new RV Sales,Service and Storage facility.

In the center of the property is a large pond(1. 5 to 2 acres) that I am filling in. As the trucks come and go, I need something to push the fill into the hole.

I have no experience with a machine off this type. Anyone out there own one or has run one and does it have any quirks???

I'm not a Guru, but we had 2 930's on a farm I worked on from '91 to 94, they were good machines. One thing I remember is when the cooling system is refilled you have to bleed the air out or you can crack the head.

Sounds like you need an old 931 track loader for the type of stuff you will be doing. Rubber is better of on hard surfaces.

But if the price is right go for it.

I will dig up some info on them. I personally have never worked on one. Let me find out what engine and stuff they have.

Do you have a serial number? I could pull up a history on that machine.

I would try to find a old 931 or a old 953 unless you plan on running it on your driveway or on the street.

BigYellowIron... ... . If you could pull up some info that would be great. I am almost positive that the serial # is 41K12,366 and I do know the serial number on the engine is 78P62276. See if they cross match. I'll keep looking for the paper I have the serial # written on.

It was sold by Darr Equipment and was owned by a large paving co. Present owner has had it about a year and a half. Hobbs shows a little over 8,000 hours.

Just found the paper on the serial #. 41K 12366 is correct... . Thanx, Barry
