any chapter in Utah?

Steve(HebeRam) and I tried so set something up a couple of years ago but we had a lack of help. But I would ike to see something go again. Steve is now the over in the sun and surf. And my time is limited right now and my truck is w/o a motor.

There has been alot of interest in the past, but no one wants to step up and take the bull by the horn. when ever there has been a Saturday AM meeting/get-together there has been about 12--14 trucks show. I think the last get-together was done by BIGDAWG before he left to go to other places. There was a good showing at the "EDGE" day in September. There is a bunch in the state/area.

Blew up a turbo on the dyno and didn't get to drag race :{ every piston had dents in them but no cylinder scarring.



But in the end it will be worth the down time. Hopefully here in a month or so...

They were advertised here in this forum, dates were at least six weeks out. I don't know what kind of arrangements were made with the restaurants etc. I think time is going the biggest restraint and a bit of desire. but one might end up with:-{} this from your better half.

It looks like we are all over the place in Utah, but getting something organized should be possible. After all, we like to drive our trucks don't we?



I know there are lots of CTD owners in the Uintah Basin, I'll ask around if anyone else is interested in this area, but I'm willing to help with something regardless of where it is.

I drive truck for a living so my free time is very limited. Would love to see something get going on this. Lets try to plan a meet at a restauraunt and see if we can't work it out somehow..... I am usually home on the weekends.

I'm coming to Orem that day to see a friend that has cancer and would like to meet anyone that can join me. Meeting in SLC is fine with me. Let me know. I was thinking maybe someplace like JB's or the like for doing this. Other suggestions?

I have done a "get together" before and I was wanting to do another one but the timing right now is bad. On the 22nd we are going to Moab then May Madness ... ...



I was thinking like June or something for a get together. If Edge is puting on an event at that time that would be fun.....

Several years ago, I tried to get a chapter going here in the Roy, Utah area. We had one meeting at Hinckley Dodge in Ogden (as they sponsored it) and there were many that wanted the chapter, but TDR required a President, Vice P, Secretary, Treasurer.



No one wanted to take the responsibilities, so the Chapter was not formed!



If there are people who would take on some of these responsibilities, I would be willing also.

Wayne, I'd be willing, but I've never belonged to a club, let alone been an officer in one, so I wouldn't have a clue how to go about getting started. Also would the fact that I live about 3 hrs from that area be a problem with belonging to it? PM me and lets see what we can get started.
