I was just wondering how many of you guys/gals(if your single drop me an email :-laf ) here have classic cars and if you do what kind?

I have a 67 Fairlane, my dad has a 50 Mercury and my mom has a 78 Vette, and we are in the beginning stages of a frame off 70 Buick Skylark convertible.

1968 GTO 400-4 speed

Here is a poor picture but the best I could come up with:

1973 Firebird Formula 350-4 speed in primer, motor MIA. I have two more 400's, a 428, and a 455 in the garage. I think I'm gonna go with the 400.

1960 Willy's pickup with a Flathead Ford V8

My Dad's Cadillac "Broadmoor"

One of 30 made for the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs:

I saw another project today I would not mind having. It was a 65 GTO hardtop sitting on the side of a building in pieces but very solid.

Classic Cars

I have a 57 Chevy BelAir that's been in the family since it was purchased brand new at Flatbush Chevrolet in Brooklyn. I remember that day. I was 7 years old and went with my Uncle. He bought it off the show room floor.

A few years ago I sold a 41 Packard that I restored. Basically to help pay off some college bills for my sons.

Well I don't know if this counts but I have about 20 or so from 1930 to 1978 :-laf Here is a shot of my kids 63 Valiant. He started color sanding it but did not get done before the race. [/IMG]#ad

I've had Buicks for years. A 1970 Stage 1 GS 2 owner car that ran 12. 8s with cold air, it was basically a stock stage 1 with headers and a B4B intake. 1966 Buick GS factory big block fully optioned of course, 1965 Buick Skylark, 1971 Buick Skylark w/455 and I currently have a car my Dad bought new in 87 which is a Turbo T. It's the same thing as a Grand National, runs 11s and has never had the valve covers off the engine. It only has 49000 miles on it. I've taken first place at the Buick Nats in the 70 GS back in 1990 and in 2003 I took first place at the Buick Nats driving my wifes little 1999 supercharged GS Regal. Hopefully I can get the Turbo cars transmission freshened and get it back down to the Buick Nats next year.

I have a '72 Buick Skylark Custom convertible, 350/4v, auto, red with white top/interior.

I also had a '67 Mercury Cougar GT 390, but I sold it during the dot.com layoffs. :(

I have a full on pro street '63 Ford Unibody pickup. 14pt cage, slicks, 402cu in Ford FE big block, c-6, alston rear end, ditched the solid front axle in favor of an IFS setup. I just need to get it ALL the way done.

'66 Dart sitting in my garage. There are a couple of pictures of her in my gallery. She's got a /6 and very very little rust underneath.

I should have the front seat re-upholstered by next weekend, hopefully. Then it's on to the back seat. At some point, I hope to have her looking like new.

My Dad (Jack in Alaska) and I co-own a 59 lincon Premier. Its our Sunday crusier car. We drive it in parades and do a couple of car shows every year.

Dad used to have a 36 Dodge business coupe, sold it because we did not have time to restore it.

Currently have a '70 Chevelle on the street, a '72 Vega that I bracket race, and am looking at a Turbo Buick currently to add to the fleet!

I've got a '70 GTX, 440, 4 spd, w/3. 54 Dana 60 all disassembled with the bodywork done waiting to be painted. One of these days I'll get back on this thing and make it drive  . I also have a '65 New Yorker 2dr hardtop that is pretty weathered, but complete and running. It has had the 413 replaced with a 440 20 or so years ago. I've been sidetracked with the off-roading stuff the last couple of years, so I need to get back to my cars.

Travis. .

70ish Ford Bronco. 5 year resto project that was alot of fun. Did everything myself, except the trans. I bought a rolling chassis, and started buying new parts from there.

Started by hanging the frame with a Track-Hoe and sandblasting inside & out. Acid primer, sprayed, and then dipped in a silicon alkyld. This frame will never rust!!

All glass body, no doors, top, or gate. Highly modified C-4 35 spline 9 inch & D44 with power discs all around.

Late 90's 351W dynoed @388. Killer (Dodge) White Urethane paint with Electric Blue Tube bumpers & cage & fuel cell.

For some silly reason, I decided to trailer it to a show... at a Ford Dealership no less

Very first comments while still on trailer... .

"Hey, nice Jeep"

"You dont see many Scouts around"

"I didnt know they put a V8 in a Bronco II"

I've got my 71 chevelle and the old 67 plymouth fury III. The fury was my grandfathers last car that he bought. He bought it new. The chevelle is mostly a play toy. The new motor is together and ready to go in. :D

I have a few old cars, all of which are unrestored (but need it). At least they all run (basicly):

1950 Chevy Special 2-door sedan, original stovebolt 6

1962 Olds F-85 with the 215 aluminum V8

1962 Pontiac Catalina 4-door hardtop

1968 Mercury Cougar

When my truck isn't in running order my backup daily driver is the Cougar. Outside of my truck it's the newest vehicle I own. The average age of my "fleet" is 38 years

In the mid 90s I drove the old Chevy a fair amount, racked up almost 7000 miles in less than 4 years.
