Hey guys i am looking for wheels now. I really would like to stay with 17" because i dont want to change my 315's. Anyone have any recomondations to what wheel to run. I want good looks and has good quality. I will not by weld wheels... personal reason .
We have that on my wife's 2004 2500. They look really really nice. They do stick out about 1 to a 1 1/2 inch though.
I can email you pics of them installed if you want.
Body Coddington makes a wheel. They will even cusomt make them to fit with no sticking out if you want. $$$ though. ARE Pythons will fit too. That's about the extent that I've found. There are a few others... ... . wait for more replies.
Alcoa's new catalog shows 17" forged in their Classic pattern #478481, 17x8, 3450 lb. Wheel weighs 25 lb, 0 offset.
Alcoa also shows 478681, LTS rated 2750 lb, 0. 709" offset, wheel weighs 33 lb, and this one has the * footnote not to use abrasive polishes or cleaners, or Alcoa aluminum care system products.
I read in another post that 18's wouldn't work on someone's 2003 because they rubbed. They obviously work on yours though. Do they rub at all at full lock? Do you happen to know the offset?
