I have the Kore Recon lift on my truck, which is 3" in front (but sagging a bit now). It came with both longer sway bar links and also drop blocks for the sway bar. Well, the links had small hiem joints on the ends and eventually as they wore, the "clunking" drove me crazy. I called Kore and asked if they were really necessary given the drop blocks, and they said no. So, I put the stock links back on.

But, then, I had the steering box brace installed and the blocks won't work with that in place, so they were removed. I feel like since then, the truck seems to have a bit of wander, and I've noticed that it seems related to the truck shifting weight from side to side. Seems related to the sway bar or links. I suppose it could be shocks, but they are Bilstien 5100's and probably only have 30k-40k miles on them.

So, does anyone think that the block and/or longer links are really needed for 3" lift in front? If so, where can I get some longer ones that are solid and quiet?

Genos Garage has the Maxx sway bar links for use with leveling kits. Carli has adjustables that will allow you to tune it to different heights.

The Maxx ones are, basically like stock but better quality. The Carlis are heim joints. If they wear they will rattle, but, they should not wear that fast.
