I saw a thread over on DTR about TST possible adding rail pressure as an option. Is this available? How do users like it thus far? Can you adjust up or down?

This would be cool. Kick the bddl to the curve. add a Smarty and TST.

Just thought I would check with you guys to see if anyone knows of the info?

Thanks as always !!!

I ask TST about the new version and options about a week ago. No real details officially available. Estimated 30-60 days out at least. I do know there is at least one beta version out there somewhere.

TST tests with it and can program it but do not sell a version with rail pressure. I believe their view is they can drain the rail without it so there's no point. Now that's there's better fueling (CP3s) available maybe they'll start adding it as an option. When and if it becomes available they re-flash your comp box for a reasonable fee.

Thanks all ! I would like to have my TST reflashed when it comes available. This would be a nice addition to my II CP3 I believe.

I was at TST two weeks ago to see about getting the reflash. I was told its about 30 days out from being released officially. Mark has been testing it on his truck for a while now, but won't give out any specific details. From my understanding it only adds a slight amount of pressure at low rpms (no numbers yet) to boost low end tourqe, nothing at higher rpm's. The reflash is also going to involve a harness change as well. Needs to tie into the fuel pressure sensor.

Here's the skinny on the new TST w/ Rail Pressure:

- It has new hardware in it, so only PMCR's with serial #'s 5000 and up can be reprogrammed. The rest of us need to upgrade modules if we want this option.

- There is also a new injector harness required, with the rail plugs on it.

- The coolest part is that you'll be able to switch between the standard, early twins and late twins programs. How great is that?!!!! Early twins for smoke shows, standard program for dyno days, and late twins for drivability. Sign me up!

... ... at least this is what I was told last week when I talked to them.
