Any interest in a SD chapter?

Guys/Gals let me know if there is anyone interested in starting a South Dakota chapter. I am located in Sioux Falls but my inlaws have a cabin near Nemo so I am out west a lot as well.

I have a buddy with a chassis dyno.

I have plenty of places to offroad and I have a good "IN" for aftermarket parts.

It has been a hectic year for me with a couple of moves, etc, but I should have more time for things come spring. I am in Spearfish, but still am out east occasionally to visit relatives in Minnesota. Seems like there are a ton of the CUmmins trucks out here that are modded but not many that seem to know about the tdr.

I'm in Northwest Iowa. Sioux Falls is about a hour from me. I'd be interested.

I've wanted to go to some get-togethers in Omaha, but the times never fit around my work.

I'm also watching the thread about an Iowa Chapter. These guys are mostly in Eastern IA. I could almost be a member in 3 states!

I'll keep watching this tread!

I would be interested in more information. I live near Richland and there are several people in the area that would also be interested. I usually pass one of your trucks on my way to Sioux City every week. Lets hear more!

Maybe we should plan a get together? Any ideas of places that would work best for all? I would think there would be a few NW IA guys that would be interested... If the weather would shape up I would say lets have a dyno day but with the temps right now and the great roads I think we should hold off for awhile. Any thoughts??

I'm in Vermillion but work so many freakin' hours that time for club stuff is almost non-existent. Plus over the last 2 years I've been involved in a rather messy house remodel project and some rather ugly personal issues.



JP, I never did get over there to take you for a ride..... My bad, sorry. I actually yanked all the "go fast" parts off the '99 & put it back closer to stock. *whispers* (but I have a line on where to find a twin turbo'd 12 valve, keep hounding me I might be able to bring it over once the snow melts. )

So anyways, hopefully 2006 will bring some spare time around my way & it'd be kinda fun to have a local something or other to do.

I like the Sioux Valley Chapter idea. Kind of makes sense being so close to MN and IA not to restrict it by calling it a SD Chapter. I do think that we should plan a meet and greet rather soon so we dont forget about it and all get busy doing other things. I will furnish a website we just need to come up with a name we all agree on. If you guys come to Sioux Falls to do some Christmas shopping, drop the wives off and stop over. My cell is 605-359-7556.
