any interest in a Spearco Intercooler group purchase?

I understand the differences between both types of cores, but we are not going to see 250psi so the cost isnt justified in my eyes. All of them do the same job dropping egts and maybe one looks better then the other. Now I dont know how much the group purchase is but for a 1000 bucks or so you can get a BD or City Diesel intercooler if you search hard enough on the web.

I wouldn't be so sure they all do the same job of dropping EGT's, the whole point of the bar and plate design is that it is much more efficient at reducing egt's vs. the traditiional tube and fin design because of its density, in addition to being much stronger. This is for those looking for the best, not the cheapest. If you are interested in the price, PM me, you might be suprised. The point is, the others are all pretty much the same it appears, while the spearco is a cut above. If you know anything about Turbonetics/Spearco, you know they don't make something because it looks cool, they are one of the best at what they do.

Here's an update on the status of this thing. We've got 6 committed buyers, and we need to get 10 committed buyers by the end of January to make this thing happen. Otherwise, there are only going to be 5 buyers because I'm not going to wait forever to put one on. This is the best intercooler out there for our trucks, and as far as I know, it is the only one with the bar and plate design instead of the tube and fin design.
