At what boost does the Super B map out? To what boost number does this turbo remain 1:1, or very close to it?

According to the guy at BD-power... at like 40lbs boost - there was no more than 50lbs drive pressure at the manifold

But he did not get real specific - And I have no proof, only what he said

And I think past the 40lbs mark, he said I better go with the twins

PS - did you guys see the new Lift pump kit ????

Here are the flow numbers for the Super B if someone can convert it:

S300

Max Flow Rate (kg/s) 0,52

Output Range (kW) -357

ON EDIT: Scratch that. I can't tell if that is for the S300, S310, or S320.

Glad to hear you are happy with your turbo the super b uses a small compressor wheel that is where it has quickspooling capabilites the trick is the wheel has extended fin tips so it will push a high volume of dense air

do it!!! Oo.

i love mine. have had it on for about 3 weeks now. absolutely love it.

truck hits 40 lbs boost quite easily. lag seems about same as stock, sometimes better. extremely responsive.

when under medium to high load, it sounds more like a big truck sound.

best part on mine is the fact that cruising at 65, it is dead silent. however if you want to hear it, just pick it up a few MPH!!!

2,2 is now like 4,2 used to be.

i haven't had it over 4,4 because the roads have not been clean enough to keep from spinning.

it is a strange feeling to get into it at 70 on the interstate and feel it break loose.

and don't cut the boost hose that goes from the turbo to the intercooler

My Super "B" single has been flawless. And it has gone over 40lbs boost with no problems at wot. And you just cannot beat the price on this little devil. It works, and it is a schweitzer (sp?). Spools quickly, and handles everything I have thrown at it. I have not yet dynoed my truck, but I figure I must be 500+ hp with everything turned up to the max. I know the front end can come off the ground! Go figure? :D

Mike (My wife MADE me turn it down)

How you going to get more fuel to the motor Tom?

Kevin... you messing with me? :-laf

one call to Mark at TST and I will have enough fuel for twins...

Really though, if you mean the fuel pressure isssue, I will plan on trying the new fuel pusher-pump kit from BD-power

if I can break 500 - I will stop

yeah i was talking about the fuel pressure issue. I'd be very interested to see how that turbo works for you it definitely has my interest. i pulled the baffles out of the intake tube and silencer ring off that turbo just sings now.

:--) -- I like road trips... But that would be a ROAD CAREER! what about 2-3 days drive??

So the super B is a drop in, but will not work with a Pac-Brake. They have an adapter to go from the turbo to the down pipe. Which I am guessing eliminates the cast elbow. Please correct me if I am wrong.

That is exactly correct. To retain exhaust braking abilities you will have to switch to a remote mount style brake. Amazingly enough BD has one of those that will work for you though! :D

Amazing how that works, you get to spend money twice...

Thats partially why i haven't done turbo yet.

I dont need two pac brakes
