Well it appears that we may be moving out of the armpit of the western states (Los Angeles) and moving to Maine. This could be as soon as this coming spring, and wanted to see how many members we have up there or if I am going to have to round a bunch up myself.

Newf, I can't recall seeing one TDR member from Maine, must be a few though. We are planning our summer vacation up at Moosehead Lake next summer, maybe we could meet if you relocate.

Originally from there....

And desperatly want to move back when I get out of the military. Still have a few years to go before I "retire" though. And the wife's not so sure about moving to the "boonies" as she calls it.

What are you moving there for? I'm sure you'll love it!

We want to move into the BOONIES!

We ofcourse have our Newfoundlands and a Pure Bred Champion Doberman Retriever (Newfy trained), and we want to be able to open our door in the morning and say "go jump in a lake!" Up here at Lake Arrow Head, everything is so restricted and expensive, the people (most of them anyways) suck, it is brown, dried out dusty and expensive. We call it L. A. in the mountains. A nice little 2 bedroom, 2 bath home on 11 acres, with a thousand feet of lake front property (which of course you won't find here) will cost more than $1,000,000. Ofcourse, it IS available in Maine for $140,000. My better half was born and raised in Hopewell, New Jersey and spent every summer at the family summer home on Kezar Lake, Maine and I, being a military brat followed by two enlistments in the Navy, have no roots anywhere. Right now I work on T. V. Commercials, but I am also a Photographer and would like to have my own gallery. Maine is fairly Photogenic:D I am also an ex-PGA Golf Pro (instructor) and a Jack of all trades (reasonably masterful at some) so I think I can stay pretty busy. Besides, we love the snow! Big Saint, You aren't leaving the Big Dawgs at home are ya? See you next year!

My parents have a house in Albion. Dad owns a 1990 1 ton CTD, so you might see him.

I spent many a summer there while growing up.

You can get a REALLY NICE house for that amount.

I'd like to get out of here some day, maybe Maine... . or central Pennsylvania. (A free state)

I want to go to the boonies too!!

New Jersey is getting over developed, and over crouded. Theyre not doing anything about the highways either. This place sucks!!
